Reclevo Joins SEATRACE — a Horizon Europe Project Tracking Marine Pollution Across Three Oceans

We're proud to share that Reclevo Infotech Private Limited is a partner in SEATRACE, a major research project funded under the European Union's Horizon Europe programme. For a Goa-born deep-tech company, joining a consortium of Europe's leading marine science institutes and India's top research bodies is a milestone we don't take lightly.

What is SEATRACE?

SEATRACE — *"Tracking marine pollutant cocktails and their ecological impact with advanced analytical, technological and toxicological tools"* — is a Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action running from September 2026 to August 2030, with a total EU contribution of nearly €6 million.

The project sets out to characterise complex mixtures of marine pollutants across the Atlantic, Arctic and Indian Ocean coastal regions and the Mediterranean Sea, and to assess their toxicity on marine life under climate-change conditions. It combines environmental monitoring with effect-based methods to identify pollution hotspots and prioritise risk — turning scattered data into decisions.

A consortium spanning Europe and India

SEATRACE is coordinated by Spain's Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and brings together institutions including Plymouth Marine Laboratory, the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, the University of Valencia and BioDetection Systems, among others across Europe.

On the Indian side, the project partners include some of the country's most respected research organisations:
